Description

This straw hat is from my private collection of vintage clothing and accessories, as were all but a handful of the costumes in the CARNEY "Love Me, Chase Me" Music Video for which I was costume designer. In the classic "Bucket" style of the early 1960's, which is reminiscent of the cloche hats of the 1920's, this beautiful straw hat is adorned on the right side with fabric and pearl light flowers and pale green, nearly iridescent sequins scattered elsewhere. There is a simple off-white velveteen bow at the center front brim.
