Description

This little cuff has the look of crepe paper torn in irregular pieces, dipped in wallpaper paste and multi-layered , which is how it got its reference to paper mache! Pretty and dainty- 5-7/8" x 3/4 approximate HOW TO MAKE PAPER MACHE PASTE * Make paper mache paste (there are many different options): o OPTION 1: 3/4 white glue to 1/4 water (or if using a good, thick glue, like elmers you can do 1/2 and 1/2) o OPTION 2: COOK METHOD: 1 part flour to 5 parts water... boil about 3 minutes and let cool (my favorite! it's the cheapest method and is nice and smooth) o OPTION 3: 1 part flour to 1 part water. Stir together. Now tear newspaper, wrapping paper, crepe paper, etc, throughly drench in paste and start layering over chicken wire forms or whatever forms!

Paper mache, yes, but not without substance...
