What do you think of when you see a pencil which has been sharpened down until its point almost touches its eraser?

I see a person with an imaginative mind and unlimited creativity and adventure. I see determination and the ability to transfer "stories" from one's mind to the outside world, either through journals or actual paper, as opposed to typing in the air as I am doing right now. I remember grabbing a pencil behind my ear in Music Theory class, to jot down a few measures on Staff Paper. I treasure a few pencil jot shopping lists I still  possess from my late Mama.

Pencils are beautiful, working, mobile sculptures  of wood and graphite. The fact that I think this might be one of the reasons I got sidetracked sometimes during childhood standardized tests.
